MolsonCoors and Unilever will share their journey into the digital world of consumer care. These two companies will discuss their experiences, best practices and offer suggestions and a vision of where they are heading next.
Customer care's relationship with social media is maturing and these leading companies are at the forefront of that process. Attendees will have an excellent opportunity to gain insight, not only from MolsonCoors and Unilever, but also other Canadian peers in the customer care space, who have been using social media to manage customer interactions.
Adam Moffat is the Director of Digital and Social Media at Molson Coors Canada. In this newly created role, Adam oversees the strategic direction and deployment of digital marketing and social media engagement for Molson and its brands within Canada.
As an active member of Canada’s social media community, Adam is constantly on the hunt to make connections, create sociable content and unearth new ideas and approaches to share the Molson Coors Canada story.
Prior to joining Molson in 2008, Adam held a variety of progressive positions in the PR agency world, providing strategic communications counsel for a variety of blue chip clients in industries such as automotive, consumer packaged goods and technology.
An avid traveller with a naturally curious mind, Adam spends his free time exploring the world with his young family, cooking, reliving his athletic exploits with friends and relaxing with a cold beer at the end of the day.
Kevin Schofield is the Senior Supervisor of Operations for Unilever Canada Consumer Services.
Unilever is a leader in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry with its Canadian operations headquarters in Toronto and other locations all over the globe. Unilever manufactures leading brands such as AXE, Hellmann’s Dove and Breyer’s. In 2011, the Saint John site handled 475 000 consumer cases.
Kevin has been with Unilever in Saint John, NB since the operation opened in 2001 and brought years of customer care experience with him when he joined the team. In addition to his role in Unilever Social Media, Kevin is also currently responsible for Brand Relationship for all Canadian Brands and the Contact Centre as well as the relationship with the Mexican business and the Saint John centre. This can sometimes be a challenge with his limited knowledge of the Spanish language. Ensuring that the consumer wants to re purchase a Unilever product after their experience with Consumer Services is one of Kevin’s top priorities
Kevin has been a member of the SOCAP community for a number of years and is currently the Vice Chair of the Canada community.
