Gallup’s Strengths-Based Leadership Workshop
SOCAP’s Chicago Chapter is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for its members to participate in what has come to be one of SOCAP’s highest-rated chapter events.
The Gallup workshop Building a Strength-Based Culture, incorporates findings from Gallup’s extensive, ongoing research into how people can become highly effective and efficient by intentionally applying their strengths. This overview of discovery will take leaders on a journey that begins with an awareness of their own unique blend of talents. Leaders will learn how to take ownership of their personal strengths and to appreciate their individuality and the valuable contributions they offer.
The session will be led by Gallup's own Jeff Burger, Business Solutions Consultant. Jeff provides strategic advice on key workplace and talent management challenges faced by his clients. By applying his subject matter expertise and Gallup’s behavioral economics research, Jeff helps companies optimize their workplace and operational strategies to increase their business growth and profitability. He offers expertise in the areas of strengths-based development, employee engagement, succession planning, leadership development, talent-based hiring and selection strategy.
Once you’ve registered for the event, you’ll be provided your own unique link that will grant you access to Gallup’s Strengths-Based Leadership Assessment. By taking this easy-to-complete assessment, you’ll learn your very own Top 5 dominant talents and how you can use those talents to excel in both your personal and business life!
The afternoon session will be an interactive workshop among the participants. Moderated by Ronna Caras, President, Caras Training, you’ll have the opportunity to apply some of what you’ve learned with an exercise focused on real-world scenarios. Having identified your own top five skills and thinking about the strengths that may be represented within your team, you’ll be invited to explore how leadership skills, along with best practices can give you a fresh perspective on addressing these challenges and meeting established goals.
Space is limited and is filling up quickly. Reserve your place today!
We will send you instructions for taking the assessment with Gallup the day after you complete your registration. To make this workshop a more enriching experience, Gallup recommends you complete your assessment by close of business on February 21.
