Meet our New York Metro Chapter 2017 Board of Directors
President: James Cammareri, Eventus Solutions Group
James Cammareri is Vice President of Sales at Eventus Solutions Group, responsible for new client acquisition and client relationship management.
James has 25 years of experience within the contact center industry holding positions at Knoah Solutions as VP of Business Development, and at Alorica (formerly PRC) as a Client Services and Operations Director. His career has noted emphasis in wireless, technology, healthcare and telecommunications industries.
James’ Expertise: Customer Experience Strategy, Contact Center Operations, Operational Turnarounds, BPO Vendor Management, Voice of the Customer Initiatives, Quality Control, E-Commerce
Over the years, James and his team have built strong client relationships with a philosophy of mutual business success through focus on Employee Satisfaction, Client Satisfaction, and Economic Success.
James is also a Board Director and current President for the New York Metropolitan Chapter for the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals (Socap International).
VP Communication: Adina Raven-Everett, Unilever
Adina Raven-Everett has been part of the Unilever family for 19 years holding various positions within their Consumer Engagement Center. Adina recently joined Unilever’s North American People Data Center as their new Digital Systems Associate collaborating with leadership to define new, innovative opportunities and improve existing solutions, processes and partnerships.
Adina is an active member of both SOCAP’s Education Committee and NY Metro Chapter. She also served as SOCAP Education Committee Chair and NY Metro Chapter Board Advisor in 2016.
VP Technology/Social: Joseph Cangialosi, Colgate-Palmolive
Joseph Cangialosi is the Global Technology Manager for Consumer Affairs at Colgate-Palmolive. He is responsible for the technology strategy and data driven operations for consumer affairs globally. He has worked for Colgate-Palmolive for the past 11+ years and is based at the corporate office in New York. He has extensive knowledge in the IT industry for the past 15+ years and has worked for such companies as: Barnes & Noble, Lincoln Financial and IBM Global Services.
Treasurer: David Olsen, TMP Direct
David brings over 15 years of TMP Direct experience and expertise in managing sales support and customer care programs from implementation and program management to strategic design and creative vision. David’s spectrum of experience spans both B2C and B2B programs.
David is responsible for ensuring every client program meets service performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals. He oversees the management of the account teams that are at the core of ensuring we meet and exceed client expectations. The account teams are responsible for the development and growth of our client’s businesses, managing cost controls, drive sales and improve the customer experience
VP Events: Jennifer Gordon, Qualfon
Jennifer Gordon is the Vice President of Business Development at Qualfon, a global provider of contact center, back-office, and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. Jennifer has a consistent track record of leading emerging and mature organizations to new levels of revenues, profits and market share. She has a proven success in client acquisition, exceeding sales goals and dramatically increasing brand recognition. Jennifer is experienced and adept at the development of sales and marketing growth strategies in the customer service industry
VP of Membership: Alexandra Battaglini, Emblem Health
VP Events: Colleen Miller, Bayer Consumer Health
Colleen Miller is the Senior Manager of Consumer Relations for Bayer Consumer Health. Colleen has a very varied background in the pharmaceutical industry serving in many roles from packaging design to marketing operations. One common thread throughout her career is her passion for the consumer which has led her to her current role in consumer relations.
Colleen is a current member of the SOCAP NY Metro Chapter board serving as VP for Programming.
VP Events: Michele Shane, Premiere Response
Secretary; Deborah Peter, Travelzoo
Deborah has over 13 years of online travel operations expertise and is currently using those skills to help members create incredible experiences at Travelzoo. She is passionate about solving problems, creating efficiencies and making agent’s lives easier. This is Deborah’s first year on the SOCAP NY Metro board and she is thrilled to be a part of the team.
