SOCAP International

Minnesota Chapter - Strengths-Based Leadership Summit

February 09, 2017
SOCAP’s Minnesota Chapter is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity to its members to participate in what has come to be one of SOCAP’s highest-rated chapter events.

More than a decade ago, Gallup unveiled the results of a landmark 30-year research project that ignited a global conversation that would change human development. Now, more than 14 million people have taken Gallup’s Strengths-Based leadership assessment which has allowed them to focus on developing what’s right with people (strengths) as opposed to what's wrong (weaknesses).

Session Facilitator

The session will be led by Gallup’s own Teresa Tschida. Teresa is a Senior Practice Expert that provides strategic consulting to Gallup’s clients, integrating customer and employee engagement with employee talent and development analytics to improve business performance. She consults with executives and senior leaders on a wide range of issues, from improving branch and store performance and optimizing the customer experience through omnichannel delivery to building a culture of high performance to meet the demands of the future.

Building a Strengths-Based Culture

Research shows that the best opportunity for people to grow and develop, and net the greatest return on investment, is to identify the ways in which they most naturally think, feel, and behave, and then build on those talents to create strengths. People who know how to use their greatest talents everyday create individual, team, and organizational engagement, and success. You can expect to leave this interactive session with:

  • A greater understanding of your own Top 5 dominant talents
  • A mutual awareness of individual talents within your group
  • Insights into Gallup’s extensive and on-going research on how organizations and teams can become highly effective and efficient by intentionally developing the strengths of its people
  • New approaches and strategies for improved employee engagement, decision making and addressing your specific business needs

Valuable Bonus Take Aways!
