Join us as we announce two exciting awards inspired by this Customer Service Trailblazer Esther Shapiro

Esther Shapiro

Esther Shapiro Award
In 1993, the SOCAP Great Lakes Chapter established a leadership award to recognize visionary leadership and high ethical standards in customer service and consumer affairs. Esther Shapiro was our first recipient and since that time the award shares her name. Last year's recipient was Jim Moloney of General Motors. We are honored to have Ms. Shapiro join us as we announce this year's winner at our kickoff meeting.

Esther Shapiro Scholarship in association with Henry Ford College Foundation
In 2015, SOCAP's Great Lakes Chapter established a new scholarship that will also bear Ms. Shapiro's name. Each year, the Great Lakes Chapter will fund $500 towards The Esther Shapiro Scholarship at the Henry Ford Community College. Student applications will be received January 1 - March 31 with the essay contest winner being announced later this year.
