About Our Speaker Rena Somersan

Somersan is a Principal with the Compensation Consulting practice of Verisight. With 20 years of diverse consulting experience assisting clients in executing their strategic HR and compensation initiatives she has a degree in Economics and Japanese from the UW Madison and an MBA. Somersan's expertise includes the design of workforce and executive compensation programs, performance management systems and leadership development in a variety of industries. She lived and worked abroad in both Japan and Turkey for a total of 16 years. She’s currently President of the Metro Milwaukee Society for Human Resources Management.

Session 1:  Compensation Programs ~ Getting more Bang for your Buck!
This session will cover the current trends in compensation management and provide insight into how pay programs can drive and support employee engagement.

Session 2:  Coaching and Assessment ~ The Road to Getting the Best Out of Your Employees and Pinpointing High Potential Talent
This session will cover the fundamentals of good coaching behaviors and address the topic of differentiating performance from potential while highlighting the importance of defining potential within each specific organizational culture.
