Susan D. Kirby, Ph.D. is the President of Kirby Marketing Solutions, Inc. With more than 22 years of marketing experience in the private and public sectors, Dr. Kirby works with organizations to help them integrate marketing thinking and practices into program development and organizational communications. She has spent the last 15 years consulting with nonprofit and government agencies and is currently identifying and recruiting business mentors to help public health agencies improve their business systems through such business tools as LEAN and Six Sigma. Dr. Kirby has spoken at more than 50 conferences, authored book chapters and journal articles, and reviewed articles about branding, social marketing and health communication.
