Craig Newmark
Founder, craigslist
Craig Newmark is the founder of craigslist.org, a site where people can help each other with everyday needs including housing and jobs. He currently works as a customer service rep for the site. Previous experience includes thirty years working with computers for IBM, GM, Charles Schwab & Co, and Bank of America.
He's also working with a wide range of groups using the Net to help each other out, like Donorschoose.org, the Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America, Kiva.org (microfinance) and Consumer Reports.
Craig is also actively engaged with government workers on multiple levels to use the Net for superior public service, and with Sunlight Foundation for government accountability and transparency.
He's not as funny as he thinks he is, but sometimes can't help himself. Craig no longer wears a plastic protector and thick black glasses that are taped together, but is still a nerd.

Donald R. Knauss
CEO, The Clorox Company
Donald R. “Don” Knauss joined The Clorox Company as chairman and chief executive officer in October 2006. As CEO, he has overall responsibility for directing the company's worldwide business, which generated revenues of $5.5 billion in fiscal year 2009.
Prior to joining Clorox, Knauss spent 12 years with The Coca-Cola Company. He joined the company in 1994 as senior vice president of marketing for The Minute Maid Company, and, in 1996, was promoted to senior vice president and general manager for Minute Maid's U.S. retail operations. Beginning in 1998, Knauss served nearly two years managing Coca-Cola's businesses in 10 countries of Southern Africa. In 2000, he was named president and chief executive officer of The Minute Maid Company. He became president and chief operating officer of Coca-Cola North America in 2004.
Knauss previously held a variety of positions in marketing and sales with the Frito-Lay and Tropicana divisions of PepsiCo, Inc. He began his business career as a brand manager in the paper products division at Procter & Gamble. Prior to that, he served as an officer of the United States Marine Corps.
A native of Highland, Ind., Knauss holds a bachelor's degree in history from Indiana University. He serves on the Boards of Directors for the Kellogg Company and URS Corporation; Indiana University, Dean’s Advisory Board, College of Arts & Sciences; University of San Diego, Board of Trustees; Morehouse College, Board of Trustees; and Marine Corp University Foundation, Board of Trustees.

Frank Eliason

Frank Eliason is the Senior Vice President of Social Media for Citibank. Frank also writes on a blog called Time to be Frank, and speaks at events across the country.
You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who has had a greater impact on new media marketing and customer service than Frank Eliason. While everyone else focused on themselves and on “what are you doing?”, Frank did a complete 180, asking “Can I help?” While hundreds of “social media experts” popped up, Frank prided himself on being a customer “service guy.” Comcast’s success in the new media space has come entirely from Frank’s social media tactics, those he’ll readily acknowledge aren’t “tactics”, but just being helpful.
Helen Horsham-Bertels

Helen Horsham-Bertels is the Senior Director of Consumer Affairs for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. In this role, she oversees global customer care at the corporate and executive levels. Ms. Horsham-Bertels joined Starwood and the hotel industry in 2000 after holding customer service management roles in the consumer goods and publishing industries. From 2000-2004, she managed the North American Guest Satisfaction Program and Executive Consumer Affairs. In 2005, she took over leadership of the global customer service team.
Bryan Rhoads is a Sr. Digital Strategist for Intel HQ focused on social and emerging media. As a founding member of Intel’s Social Media Center of Excellence, Bryan is responsible for Intel’s Global social media strategies for Intel’s consumer products and brands. He also served as the cirriculum architect for Intel’s award-winning training program, Digital IQ.
At Intel, Bryan pioneered social media techniques that laid the foundations for Intel to leverage Web 2.0. He designed and built Intel’s external blog platform at http://blogs.intel.com, establishing communications, legal, security and publishing guidelines that integrated social media into Intel’s marketing mix.
Bryan led a 4-year research project with MIT that researched online trust and digital marketing strategies. Bryan’s Intel and MIT Sloan researchers designed innovative approaches to increase user confidence and trust in online media experiences and communications. He is also the designer of the Intel Download Center and many high profile sections of Intel’s web systems.
Bryan is a regular speaker on digital innovation and social media with appearances at the Yale Center for Customer Insights, MIT Center for Digital Business, Innotech, SxSW, the Marketing Sciences Institute, etc.
Bryan holds a B.S. in Political Science and is currently adjunct Marketing faculty at Portland State. He sits on the Executive Board of the Center for Consumer Research at St. Joseph’s University, the Marketing Advisory Track at Northeastern University and is a member of the City Club of Portland’s New Leaders Council.
