LOVE from Cirque du Soleil

Start your 2011 Symposium experience by seeing the famous Cirque du Soleil show LOVE exclusively at The Mirage (located minutes from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas). LOVE celebrates the musical legacy of The Beatles. Drawn from the poetry of the lyrics, LOVE explores the content of the songs in a series of scenes inhabited by real and imaginary people. The international cast of 60 channels a raw, youthful energy underscored by aerial performance, extreme sports and urban, freestyle dance. Tickets for the LOVE show are limited and registration to the SOCAP Symposium is required. Guest tickets are also available.

Zappos Tour
Wednesday, May 4 | 9:00-11:30am 

Join SOCAP for a complete, behind-the-scenes tour of Zappos at the company’s headquarters in Las Vegas. On the tour, you will learn about the inner workings and the unique culture of this famous brand, gain insights into the company’s history, core values and activities and get to know the dedicated and lively members of the Zappos Family up close and personal! Zappos currently ranks #6 in the 2011 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For by Fortune Magazine. Learn firsthand what puts the “zap” in Zappos and why the company ranks in the top 10!

After the tour, participants will take part in a special Q&A session with members of the Zappos Insights Team. Additionally, tour participants will receive complimentary copies of the Zappos Culture Book along with CEO Tony Hsieh’s new book, Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose. Don’t miss your opportunity to take part in the Zappos experience! Spaces are limited for the tour. Continental breakfast will be available prior to the tour. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Tour
Wednesday, May 4 | 9:00-11:30am

Get an inside look into the culture, activities and guest experience at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.  This hotel, which just opened its doors in December 2010, has created a resort experience “set apart from anything that exists right now in Las Vegas," according to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas CEO John Unwin.  In addition to a tour, participants will hear from key executives about the behind-the-scenes activities at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas such as the creation of the hotel’s culture and design, hiring and managing the best talent and engaging guests with social media.  Registration to the 2011 Symposium is required to attend this tour. Continental breakfast will be served.

Cancellation Policy:

You must be a registered attendee or the guest of a registered attendee of the 2011 SOCAP Symposium to purchase a ticket to the Zappos Tour, Cosmopolitan Tour or LOVE. Tickets to the Zappos Tour, Cosmopolitan Tour and LOVE are non-refundable. Substitutions will ONLY be accepted in the event of a total cancellation of registration to the 2011 SOCAP Symposium. In such an event, attendees will have seven (7) calendar days from the date of cancellation to notify, in writing, SOCAP International by emailing socap@socap.org of their desired substitute for the Zappos Tour, Cosmopolitan Tour, LOVE or any purchased combination of the three. Transfer of admission to the Zappos Tour, Cosmopolitan Tour or LOVE can ONLY be made to a registered attendee of the 2011 SOCAP Symposium. No substitutions will be accepted after April 15, 2011. Ticket purchases to the Zappos Tour, Cosmopolitan Tour and LOVE are limited to one per person. A valid ticket and 2011 SOCAP Symposium name badge are required for admission to the Zappos Tour, Cosmopolitan Tour and LOVE. Guest event tickets are valid only with an accompanying full registration to the 2011 SOCAP Symposium.
